Stay Safe.
Chat Smart.

Anonymous chat can be a great way to meet people and have honest conversations — but it pays to stay aware. Read these tips before chatting.

Chatterly is for users 18 and over. If you are under 18, please leave now. If you encounter someone you believe is underage, report them immediately using the ⚑ Report button in the chat window.
Personal Safety
🔒
Never share personal info
Do not give out your real name, address, phone number, school, workplace, or any social media handles to strangers online. Anonymity is your protection — keep it.
📷
Be careful with photos
Photos can contain embedded GPS location data. Even if they don't, images of your face, home, or surroundings can reveal far more than you intend.
💰
Never send money
Anyone asking for money, gift cards, crypto, or financial help — no matter how believable their story — is almost certainly running a scam. Block and report immediately.

Watch out for suspicious links
Do not click links from people you don't know. Phishing links can steal your accounts, install malware, or reveal your IP address. When in doubt, don't click.
💪
Trust your instincts
If a conversation makes you feel uncomfortable, you can simply close the tab or log out. You owe no one your time or attention. Your comfort comes first.
👥
Meeting in person
If you do decide to meet someone you met on Chatterly, always meet in a public place, tell someone where you're going, and arrange your own transportation.
